The 4th of July, Independence Day, July 4th how ever you refer to it, this is the day the US celebrates the history, government, and traditions of the United States. The 4th of July holiday commemorates the US adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. We love us some US on the 4th day in July.
