Meet ?. Our new family member came home yesterday. Isn't he cute?

I really want to name him Brad, you know, Brad Pitt Bull. But it sounds a lot like bad, as in BAD DOG. So he doesn't have a name quite yet. Any ideas?

Let's Organize

This appeals to be because I have kids that leave everything by the door. There are always shoes, gear bags, back packs, book bags etc... sitting by the door. I imagine everyone having a nice organized space, very neat and tidy, just grab your stuff on the way out. Yes, I said, "I imagine" yes, like a dream.



Look at the "headboard" lots of storage there.




This is my favorite. I love the print on the curtain and the stacking storage. I wish my sewing area was this neat. I have way to much junk to be this tidy.

Hey, my people are talented!

I found this book while browsing about the other day. I believe I will have to add this to my collection.

My grandparents were born in the Azores, the islands off of the coast of Portugal. I started looking around at some of the hand painted tile work and mosaics that the people of Portugal produce. There is a vast inventory of beautiful pictures and websites showing the work of these talented people. Here are just a few;

Get a new rug, purge the old stuff hanging around, throw in a couple of new accessories and you'll have a new look, just in time for back to school.

Listed a couple of items in the Etsy store. I will be adding more today. I have to put some more things together and will be adding them daily for awhile.

I will be here, reading, for the next week.

My nine year old son visited D*land yesterday, he came home with some shocking news! Word on the street, Main Street of course, a Bambi ride is coming to D*land.

Could it be, is it true? Bambi has forever, been missing at "the happy place".

I am curious though. Will it be a slow moving, boat ride through a flowery meadow or a high speed rail ride through the burning forest? Either way I'm in.

Bambi is the best!!
