Tuesday

Snowy? So Cal

This is the view of the mountains from my house today. It is absolutely beautiful. It is supposed to rain some more tonight, which means more snow for the mountains. The ski resorts are certainly happy about the weather report.

Wednesday

This is our weather forecast for the next four days. We have had a week already of about the same (hotter if you ask me).

Today: Sunny, with a high near 95
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 94.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 94.

It continues with pretty much the same forecast through Labor Day.

Enough with the heat!!!
I am going here.

The Ice Hotel

I want to sleep here.

An ice bed!

Anyone want to join me. Meet you in the village JukkasjÀrvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. I bet I beat you there.

See you. I am off to find a fan.

Tuesday

So I have been trying to work on some things, but alas, I just keep adding junk on junk. I think I need a new workspace.

What I really need is some inspiration, I think the recent heat wave has fried my brain.

I think I will go through my blogroll and look at all of the beautiful things others are working on, maybe it will spark something in my overheated melon.

Saturday

USA Today
Highs in the hundreds spread from the desert — 118 at aptly named Thermal and 116 in Palm Springs — to the Los Angles area, including a record 109 at Woodland Hills, topping the 1989 mark of 105, according to the National Weather Service.

So Cal heat wave...

A/C went out...

2 weeks to repair...

too hot to think....

See you Monday, if it is cooler.

Thursday

Aaahhhhh......

I will be here, reading, for the next week.
I have to hide from foreclosures, food rationing, gas prices, global warming, insert all other craziness that's happening, I am feeling a bit frazzeled.
Ciao!

Friday

Random act's of nature!

Earthquake's in the Mid-West?

"The quake, given a preliminary magnitude of 5.4, was centered about 6 miles from Mount Carmel, Ill., and about 131 miles east of St. Louis, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It struck about 2 miles underground at 5:36 a.m., the agency said.
The USGS received reports from all over West Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Ada, Caledonia, Holland, Wayland and Trufant. Residents reported feeling floors vibrate, window-coverings shake and small drawers rattle. " The Grand Rapids Press 04/18/08

Yikes, if living in the Mid-West isn't bad enough, now they have to contend with earthquakes as well as tornado's.

I'll stick with earthquake's and the occasional wild fire/mudslide.

Waiting for the "Big One"

Warm the waters

The weather is warming up, hopefully, so will the water in the pool. It is supposed to be a nice warm weekend, the problem is the arctic pool water. Some (usually male) may say it is refreshing. My thinking is, if your feet go numb in 5 minutes, you should probably get out.

Oh well, the more warm days we have the quicker it will warm the water. I'll just start using the spa more often, it dumps the warm water in the pool when it's turned off. Hee Hee Hee!

Time to go turn on the spa, bye for now.

Tuesday

Backyard Sunset

We cooked dinner in the backyard last night. This is how the evening ended.

Beautiful weather!

Thursday

It's Spring~~

SPRING....

The first day of Spring, my favorite season, nice weather, landscape green and colorful. Trees and flowers blooming, something new everyday.

Deep breath and relax.
Nice!

Monday

Aren't they the cutest???

I love these guys. I dream of having land and owning as many llama's as it will accomodate. I miss the llama's that used to be down the road from where I live, nothing but ugly tract homes now.

Just wanted to give some prop's to my llama pals today!

Love you guys!

Friday

Changed my mind again???

I can not make a decision to save my life. This is a work in progress, so here goes, another change.

I think I will keep the name Prazeres for my blog.

I like the llama logo, but I am gonna keep her for my business logo. She is so cute.

Tuesday

New name and a logo~~~~~

New name for the blog. I also created a logo (he is located in the upper right). It certainly will be for not, some day. I promise you there will be beautiful things to add to your life, on this blog, someday.

I wish I lived where ever this sign is located. I would love to see llama walking across my street. I would round them up and keep them for my own!!! :)

Gotta go, things to do. Adios~!

Saturday

Rained out qualifying!!!!!

I didn't get to stalk/see my boyfriend yesterday. They never did get out on the track because of the flippin' rain. I wish I were his monkey.

Friday

My boyfriend is in California...

I hope it stops raining. Of all the days to rain, it rains on the day I can actually go out and stalk, I mean, see my boyfriend.

Taking Jack to the track. See ya later.

Sunday

Beware..

This is what happens when you work on one project too long. By the end of the day, I had lost my mind. Not even close to what I was working on.
Why would anyone draw a cat smoking a cigarette?

6 More Weeks of Rain...

That's right 6 more weeks of Southern California rain. Sorry So Cal.

Yesterday, our guinea pig, Einstein, peed on the floor. On February 2nd, that could only mean one thing, 6 more weeks of rain.
Thank god for modern science.

Superbowl Sunday!

Go Patriots!

So Cal?!

Yep, that's Southern California snow.

Palm trees, traffic and snow, at least there's no smog.

I took this on Saturday morning, waiting for the traffic light to change.
